The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili signed the declaration on the establishment of the strategic partnership between the states. The Ukrainian leader reported this at the briefing in Georgia. It was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

‘Exactly this is the basis of our friendship and our strategic partnership, I thank heartily for exactly such level of the relations and exactly it forms the historical document that we just signed the declaration on the strategic partnership between Georgia and Ukraine. It is the highest form of the confidence between the leaders of the states and our nations’, Poroshenko claimed.

This year Georgia and Ukraine celebrate 25 years of the resumption of the diplomatic relations between the states.
