The Ukraine-EU summit will take place on October 6. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Twitter.

“During a telephone conversation with Charles Michel, we agreed to meet in Brussels on October 6 for the 22nd EU-Ukraine Summit. I hope to meet with you and Ursula von der Leyen (President of the European Commission, - ed.) to discuss ways of an important partnership between the EU and Ukraine ", wrote the President of Ukraine.

Earlier the 22nd Ukraine-EU summit was scheduled for October 1.

Earlier Zelensky signed decree № 410/2020 declaring a Day of Mourning in Ukraine on September 26 due to the fall of the An-26 military aircraft near Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. This was reported on the President's Office website.

"Because of the tragedy that occurred as a result of the crash of the AN-26 military aircraft during scheduled training flights on September 25, 2020 near the city of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, and led to the death of servicemen of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in order to commemorate the victims, a Day of Mourning  is announced in Ukraine on September 26, 2020," the document states.

The State flag should be lowered on the houses and buildings of state authorities, local governments, state enterprises, institutions and organizations.
