Ukraine and the Arab Republic of Egypt have signed the deal on the passage of convicted people. Justice Ministry of Ukraine confirmed that on June 1.

The signators were Ukrainian Justice Minister Denys Malyuska and his Egyptian counterpart Omar Marvan.

"Signature of the deal is a vital step for further regulation of the matter of mutual passage of the convicts from the Arab Republic of Egypt. As it is signed, we will create due legal grounds for effective cooperation in terms of passage of convicted people", Malyuska said.

Hennadiy Lymeshko, a Ukrainian citizen illegally held in a Russian penitentiary colony undergoes systematic bullying, as he had previously converted to Islam. Lyudmyla Denisova, the Ukrainian parliamentary ombudsman left the respective post on her Facebook page.

Denisova reiterated that Lymeshko stays in the correction facility No.6 of Russia's Federal Penitentiary Service in Stavropol Krai (southern Russia, - 112 International). 

According to the Ukrainian official, the penitentiary colony workers threaten Lymeshko saying that after his time in jail is over, he is going to join the military service in Syria because he allegedly "supports ISIS and terrorism".

Besides, the workers take his belongings from him.
