At this moment, Ukraine does not plan the direct negotiations with Russia on supplying the gas. Denys Shmygal, the Prime Minister of Ukraine said so as quoted by LB.ua

A reporter asked the Premnier whether Ukraine considers new gas negotiations with Russia in case of a very cold winter. 

"Such talks are not planned", Shmygal replied.

He added that currently, Ukraine has 18.5 billion cubic meters of gas in its underground storage. "We are now quite confident in terms of approaching the heating season with gas in our storages. Actually, Ukraine has been 90 percent ready for the heating season as of the week before the last week", he said.

According to him, part of the fuel from the underground gas storage was purchased at the price of 3-4 UAH per 1 cubic meter. There's also domestically produced gas, he said.
