If the government imposes total lockdown in Ukraine, it could also close the borders. Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said so as quoted by Ukraine 24 TV channel.

"However, with introduction of a weekend quarantine, we managed to avoid the option of full lockdown, so in the near future, I do not expect consideration of this issue on the session of the government", the Minister said.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Cabinet boosted the quarantine measures, imposing the weekend lockdown; only food and drug stores, vehicle services and gas stations are working.
