Ukraine is ready to consider the option of exchanging 13 Russians in addition to the previously voiced 23 names for Ukrainian political prisoners’ release. Iryna Herashchenko, the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament claimed this to journalists in the negotiations in Minsk as 112 Ukraine reports.

Kyrylo Vyshynsky, the head of Ria News Ukraine, previously captured by the security forces is among those who are to be conveyed to Russia.

“After the check I want to name persons, who Mrs. Moskalkova, the Russian ombudsman wanted to visit: Vyshynsky, Halychy, Dzhemiyev, Zhydkykh, Kamalov, Marchukov, Mikhalchevsky, Osminin, Saratov, Zenichak, Sukhanov, Shybaiev, Yurevych. They admitted that they have both Ukrainian and Russian citizenship, admitted the work with the aggressor state,’ Herashchenko said.


‘Ukrainian side is ready to consider the option of exchanging those 13 Russian prisoners for the political prisoners of Kremlin, detained in the Russian penitentiaries including Balukh and the other our heroes who are being torched in the occupied Crimea,’ the Chairman said.

She said she is intended to inform the representative of Russia in the Contact Group about the willingness of Ukraine to such exchange.

Herashchenko and Lyudmila Denisova, the Ukrainian ombudsman have repeatedly expressed the readiness to exchange 23 Russians for the Ukrainians who are falsely imprisoned in the Russian Federation and the annexed Crimea.

Ukrainian and Russian ombudsman were exchanging the lists of both countries’ citizens who are intended to be visited in Ukraine and Russia. Lyudmila Denisova wasn’t allowed to any Ukrainian when Tatyana Moskalkova was let to the detained sailors of the fishing vessel Nord.
