Ukraine reached the agreement on the conclusion of the bilateral visa-free contract with Costa Rica as Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry Consular Service Department reported on Facebook.
“To institutionalize the decision of Costa Rica’s side on the imposing of the visa-free regime for entry of Ukrainian to its territory, the agreement was reached on the conclusion of the proper bilateral contract on the visa-free regime,” the message said.
The Ukrainian delegation expressed the gratitude for this country's consistent support of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and initiatives of Ukraine in the UN. The negotiations on the further cooperation in trade, migration and humanitarian spheres took place.
Earlier, we reported that Ukraine and Mexico started preparing to set the bilateral visa-free regime.
It should be noted that over two years of visa-free regime between Ukraine and Europe, Ukrainians made over 33 million trips to EU member states and the Schengen zone member countries.
