The Space Agencies of Ukraine and Canada signed a memorandum of the mutual understanding that extends the cooperation of the countries in the aerospace sphere and aircraft industry as the press service of the Ukrainian government reported.
It is noted that the ceremony of the signing took place in Montréal, Canada with the presence of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
'It is a good sign that our agencies sign such important documents. I will be glad to welcome our cooperation in the aircraft industry. We can join the possibilities of Ukraine and Canada, create and introduce the competitive product and enter the world market', Groysman claimed.
The department added that Ukraine and Canada discuss the number of the joint projects, particularly on the building of the An-132 plane, creation of the launching station for the space launches in the Canadian province Nova Scotia and the cooperation project of the Canadian and Ukrainian enterprises on the launch of the nano-satellites with the help of the launch vehicle 'Microspace-2'.
