The administration of Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Ukraine's agreement to amend the decree on local elections in the country. Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia, said this as quoted by RBC-Ukraine.

"We agreed that in the near future, the Rada will consider a draft resolution correcting the resolution that was adopted on July 15," Kozak said about the results of the negotiations in Berlin in the "Normandy format" at the level of political advisers.

The Russian official focused on the deterioration of the situation with the settlement of the conflict in Donbas after the Ukrainian Parliament voted in favor of a resolution to hold local elections, since the conditions specified in the document contradict the Minsk agreements.

As you know, negotiations took place between the political advisers of the Normandy Four countries in Berlin on September 11.
