Once again, Ukraine requests the Russian diplomats to allow the ombudsman to visit the political prisoners who were falsely imprisoned on the Russian Federation territory. Lyudmyla Denisova, the Representative of the Ukrainian parliament on Human Rights wrote this Facebook.
'The Embassy of Ukraine has sent another note to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a request to facilitate my urgent visit the penitentiary system where Oleg Sentsov, Stanislav Klyh, Olexandr Kolchenko and Volodymyr Balukh are serving their sentence,' Denisova said.
Reportedly, this note isn't the first one. Earlier, despite the agreement of Denisova with the Russian colleague she wasn't allowed to visit Oleg Sentsov and Roman Sushchenko. She assumes that he is being force-fed, because of the absence of accurate information on Sentsov's condition.
The Ukrainian ombudsman went to Russia after the telephone conversation of the Presidents of the two countries, who were discussing the release of the political prisoners.
As we reported earlier, Oleg Sentsov was falsely imprisoned in the Russian Federation and sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment. Oleg declared indefinite hunger strike on May 14. His main requirement is to liberate all Ukrainian political prisoners kept in Russian penitentiary systems.
