Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the visa cancelation agreement with the government of Grenada. Oleksiy Honcharuk, the Prime Minister of Ukraine said so during the government session.
Thus, citizens of two states will be able to travel to either Ukraine or Grenada without visas for up to 90 days within the consecutive 180 days-long period.
Ukraine's Ambassador in the UK Natalya Halibarenko is authorized to sign the mentioned agreement.
New rules of acquiring visas of EU member states took effect on February 2, 2020. The new rules concern citizens of Ukraine, too. The regulations are supposed to simplify the process of applying for a visa to enter Europe for legal visitors, facilitate the development of tourism, sports, and business and at the same time provide more resources to counter the risk of illegal migration and threats to internal security.
Earlier this month, Ukraine approved similar agreements with Mongolia and Argentina, as well as Marshall Islands.
