Ukraine and Malta sign the Agreement in education, sport and foreign affairs spheres

Ukraine and the Republic of Malta signed the series of the agreements, particularly in the education sphere on May 16 as the press service of the Administration of the President reports.

According to the information, the Memorandum of the cooperation in the higher education was signed. The document presupposes the experience and the education management information interchange, mending and development of the direct cooperation between the higher education establishments, exchange of the scientists and academic staff for the short and long-term pedagogic contract work. The Memorandum is settled for five years and comes into force after the signing.

Moreover, the sides signed the Memorandum of the cooperation in the youth, physical education and sports spheres. The document aims to develop the bilateral Ukraine-Malta relations in the mentioned spheres via bodies of executive power, non-commercial organizations, organizations of the physical education and sports trend, sports federations. The development of such cooperation will be provided through the agreement between the organizations. 

Also, the Memorandum of the common ground towards the bilateral advising between Ukrainian and Maltese Ministries of Foreign Affairs was signed. The document presupposes the holding of the regular advising and opinion exchange to discuss the ways to strengthen the cooperation regarding bilateral, regional and transregional topics. 

The Agreements were signed in the presence of Petro Poroshenko the President of Ukraine and Joseph Muscat the Prime Minister of Malta.

Earlier Petro Poroshenko claimed that Ukraine is ready to open Antonov Company center in Malta.
