President Petro Poroshenko and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev agreed on holding a session of Ukrainian-Kazakh Commission on economic cooperation in 2019. Reported the Presidential Administration after the phone talks of Poroshenko and Nazarbayev. 

‘A special attention has been drawn to the state and prospects of development of trade and economic bilateral cooperation,’ reads the message.

Poroshenko and Nazarbayev have also discussed interactions within the framework of the international organization, in particular the UN.  

Recently, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip had a phone conversation, during which they discussed the prospects of expanding of the joint border and customs control in some checkpoint at the Ukrainian-Moldovan state border.

They talked on relevant issues of the bilateral agenda. In particular, the conversation was about enhancing cooperation in the border area and expanding joint border and customs control at selected checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Moldovan state border. 

The interlocutors drew special attention to enhancing security in the region and cooperation of Ukraine and Moldova within the framework of international organizations.
