Ukrainian diplomatic missions in Tajikistan and Pakistan are monitoring the situation in Afghanistan. This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on his Twitter page.

The Foreign Minister instructed to strengthen the Ukrainian Embassy in Tajikistan in connection with the transfer of power in Afghanistan to the Taliban.

"In the current situation in Afghanistan, I instructed our embassy in Islamabad to strengthen colleagues in Dushanbe. Now 2 Ukrainian diplomatic missions - in Tajikistan and Pakistan - monitor the situation and are ready to help citizens," the minister said.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has evacuated from Afghanistan on its plane Ukrainians and the citizens of four more countries.

“The Ukrainian plane that was in Afghanistan has evacuated from Kabul the citizens of Ukraine, the Netherlands, Croatia, Belarus, Afghanistan. They are safe now. Ukraine does not leave its citizens and helps others,” Kuleba noted.

On Sunday, Taliban militants stated to take control over the whole territory of Afghanistan. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani left the country a few hours after the radical Taliban entered Kabul.
