Two rallies held in Moscow in support of Sentsov

The industrial actions were held on Chistoprudny Boulevard

A rally in support of Ukrainian political prisoner took place in Moscow on August 4. Novaya Gazeta reports 

It is stated that the event took place near the monument of Griboyedov on Chistoprudny Boulevard. Anyone who wanted to support the filmmaker came to the monument and left flowers there. 

Totally, 100 people took a part in the event. A film critic Anton Dolin, a literary critic Hanna Narinska and a filmmaker Askold Kurov are among the hundred.

Oleksii Medvediev, initiator of the rally claimed on Facebook that the event is planned to be in the form of industrial action and asked the other participants not to talk to him, as it can be considered as an infringement of rules of the industrial actions.  

It is noted that the action ended up with no arrests.  

At the same time, Maria Chuprinskaya and Olena Nosovam, the actress of Teatr.DOC held the second industrial action in support of Sentsov at the other end of the boulevard near the monument of Abai Qunanbaiuly. 

Reportedly, Bogdan Vasiliuk, priest of the St.George Russian Orthodox Church in Labytnangi visited Oleg Sentsov
