Two Ukrainian military conscripts injured due to explosion

Two soldiers, the conscripts of the 72nd Detached Mechanized Brigade of Ukraine's Armed Forces were wounded in the explosion. The Brigade itself reported that on Facebook.

The incident occurred on February 21.

The injured were taken to the hospital; their lives are beyond danger now.

'The reason for the emergency was the violation of personal security measures,' the Brigade reported. 'The internal investigation began. We stress once again: do not touch any unknown and suspicious items on the military ranges', reads the message.

Earlier, a mortar exploded during the exercise in Rivne region, northern Ukraine. Three servicemen deceased, another nine were wounded.

In July, a dreadful incident occurred in Rivne region, Ukrainian army servicemen were deadly wounded. The accident occurred during the tactical exercise on the firing range in Rivne region, where three soldiers deceased and nine suffered wounds of various degrees of severity.

Besides, three Ukrainian soldiers got injured as a result of a Molot mortar explosion at a military unit in Donbas conflict zone in September 2018.
