Leaders of the European Union decided that the trade and economic sanctions against Russia will be prolonged for another six months. Donald Tusk, the head of the EU Council tweeted that on late Thursday.

Previously, Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko said that the EU would continue anti-Russian sanctions today, June 22.
