Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Ukraine with a working visit on February 3. The press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine reports.

"Within the framework of the visit, a meeting of heads of state will be held face-to-face, as well as the eighth meeting of the High-level Strategic Council between Ukraine and Turkey, co-chaired by Volodymyr Zelensky and Recep Tayyip Erdogan," the statement said.

It is noted that during the negotiations the parties will discuss ways to deepen strategic partnership and cooperation in all areas of cooperation.

Also, following the meeting of the Strategic Council, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents and the participation of the heads of countries in the Ukrainian-Turkish business forum.

As we reported before, Mike Pompeo, the U.S. Secretary of State arrived in Ukraine to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier, Pompeo accused an NPR reporter of lying about whether a conversation he initiated with her had been deemed off the record, a charge that NPR denied.

Pompeo’s statement, however, did not address NPR’s explosive account of the conversation — that he shouted at reporter Mary Louise Kelly, used expletives, indicated that she had questioned him about Ukraine under false pretenses in a just-completed interview, and asked her, “Do you think Americans care about Ukraine?”.
