Ukrainian Minister of Defense invited his colleague to visit Ukraine by Independence Day

Stepan Poltorak, Colonel General and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine held the meeting with Fikri Isik, the Minister of National Defense of Turkey within the official visit to France. The press service of the Ukrainian Government reported this. 

‘During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of the further development of the military and technical cooperation and organization of the joint projects between the military and industrial complexes of Ukraine and Turkey’, the message reports. 

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine noted the importance of security in the modern conditions of the development of the bilateral cooperation with Turkey for Ukraine.

‘On this occasion, I invite you to visit our country and take part in the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine’, Poltorak addressed to his colleague during the meeting.

Also, he expressed the gratitude to Isik for help in the rehabilitation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers and their families. 315 people received the rehabilitation in Antalya. 

In turn, Fikri Isik assured the further support of Ukraine. Particularly, he noted that Turkey judges the annexation of Crimea, independently on the Turkey-Russia relations and supports the Ukrainian position towards territory integrity.
