Turkey will not accept in its seaports any trade vessels arriving from the Russian-occupied Crimea. The Maritime Traffic Department of the country’s Trade and Industry Chamber mentioned this in the letter sent to Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office.

The document says that such ships will not be let into Turkish docks; besides, they will not be authorized for departure if they previously had arrived in the occupied peninsula.

In order to not let in the vessels that came from Crimea, Turkey implements thorough documentation checks.
