Oleksandr Turchynov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) held the negotiations with Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO Secretary General on the bilateral cooperation of Ukraine and alliance as the press service of the NSDC reported.
Turchynov told that the sphere of defense and security passes on the work according to the NATO standards and discussed the difficulties of this process.
The sides also discussed the counter-stand to the Russian aggression in the East of Ukraine and hybrid threats that Ukraine faces. Also, Turchynov thanked NATO for the support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Moreover, they discussed the holding of the NATO-Ukraine Commission at the level of the countries' leaders.
'We are interested in the development of the interaction between the NATO countries, particularly, on the military and defense cooperation, strengthening of the defense and security of the armament depots in Ukraine, cyber-security and other', Turchynov claimed.
