On Sunday, the campaign headquarters of U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he would appeal again to the country's Supreme Court in order to get recent election results canceled. This was reported by Reuters, citing Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
“The Campaign’s petition seeks to reverse three decisions which eviscerated the Pennsylvania Legislature’s protections against mail ballot fraud,” Giuliani stated.
Trump’s lawyer is confident that his remedies will allow to transfer his client 20 votes from Pennsylvania.
It is worth noting that the President's last lawsuit was rejected on December 11.
The electoral votes will be counted on January 6, and Joe Biden is expected to take office on January 20.
As we reported earlier, last week members of the Track Electoral College started casting votes for the President of the United States across the country.
Joe Biden was declared the winner in 25 states and the District of Columbia, gaining 306 votes. Trump, in turn, won in 25 states, receiving 232 votes.
