Adviser to the US President for National Security John Bolton held a secret meeting with Eurosceptics in the ranks of the ruling Conservative Party. At this meeting, he said that US President Donald Trump wants to speed up the conclusion of a trade deal after the UK's withdrawal from the EU. This is reported by The Sunday Telegraph.

According to sources, Bolton last week spent more than an hour chatting with members of the European Studies Group, which unites eurosceptics from the Tory parliamentary faction. He told them that Trump was very enthusiastic about Brexit and believed that the United States and Great Britain would be able to conclude a new trade deal two years after the formal exit of the UK from the EU, which would take place on the night of March 29-30, 2019.

The publication also reports that Bolton then met with the adviser to the Prime Minister for National Security, Mark Sedwill, but he did not tell him about his meeting with Eurosceptics.

Earlier Donald Trump, the U.S. President, stated that the U.S. Legislation on migration is “the dumbest anywhere in the world”. He wrote it on Twitter.

The American leader also added that the Republicans want “open borders and no crime” and the Democrats “want open borders and are weak on crime”.
