U.S. President Donald Trump just tweeted he will “strongly consider” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s suggestion over the weekend that he testifies in the House of Representatives' impeachment inquiry, CNN reports.
Pelosi said this weekend in a CBS interview that Trump has "every opportunity to present his case" before Congress, and could "take the oath of office or he could do it in writing".
Trump decided to respond to Pelosi's suggestion.
"Even though I did nothing wrong, and don’t like giving credibility to this No Due Process Hoax, I like the idea & will, in order to get Congress focused again, strongly consider it!" Trump stated on his Twitter page.
....that I testify about the phony Impeachment Witch Hunt. She also said I could do it in writing. Even though I did nothing wrong, and don’t like giving credibility to this No Due Process Hoax, I like the idea & will, in order to get Congress focused again, strongly consider it!

As we reported earlier, Trump stated that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky spoke unfavorably about Marie Yovanovitch, the former US Ambassador to Ukraine. Trump wrote this on his Twitter.
“Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad. She started off in Somalia, how did that go? Then fast forward to Ukraine, where the new Ukrainian President spoke unfavorably about her in my second phone call with him. It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint ambassadors,” US president stated.
