U.S. President Donald Trump urged the allies in the international coalition to put an end to the hostilities in Syria. He said that in his Thursday speech while having a joint press conference with NATO leader Jens Stoltenberg.
‘It is time to end this brutal civil war, defeat terrorists and allow refugees to return home,’ Trump said.
Trump called on the NATO allies to 'work together to resolve the disaster' in Syria and appreciated their position as they condemned Bashaar al-Assad’s army and their suspected gas attack in Khan Sheikhun in Idlib province, Syria.
'Vicious slaughter of innocent civilians with chemical weapons including the barbaric killing of small and helpless children and babies must be forcefully rejected by any nation that values human life,' Trump concluded.
