President Donald Trump ordered to suspend Marie Yovanovitch as the U.S. Ambassador in Ukraine after the complaints of his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani and other individuals. This is mentioned in a story by The Wall Street Journal.

Giuliani reminded the U.S. leader of the complaints that came from his supporters who said she showed some biasedness in personal conversations. The lawyer told Trump that Jovanovitch tried to undermine his authority and blocked the investigation against the Democrats, incuding ex-Vice President Joe Biden.

Giuliani also informed Trump that Yovanovitch, in her conversations with Ukrainian politicians, has been repeatedly badmouthing the U.S. President.

In his July phone call to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump said he recalled the U.S. Ambassador in Ukraine as he was extremely displeased with her actions.

Yovanovitch left the office in May 2019.
