Trump signs law on U.S. 2018 defense budget

The document foresees USD 350 million of financial assistance for Ukraine

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed the law about the country’s defense budget for the next year. The press service of the White House reported that on Tuesday, December 12.

Among other things, the document stipulates financial assistance for Ukraine for 350 million U.S. dollars. Another 4.6 billion dollars will go to U.S. allies in Europe to deter the Russian aggression.

The overall size of the U.S. military budget made 692 billion U.S. dollars.

The Senate approved the draft budget last month.
