Earlier, Trump assumed the latest developments in Ukraine could be discussed during the negotiations. “I will meet President Putin on Monday and we will talk about Syria, interference with the elections, we will talk about different things, will talk about Ukraine…It will be very interesting to hear what he will tell me…He can deny it and say: “I did not do it.” I can tell him: “Do not do it again,” Trump said.
Trump also commented on the possibility of recognizing the annexation of Crimea by Russia has blamed the seizure of the peninsula on his predecessor Barack Obama. “This is an interesting question because long before I came to the office, President Obama allowed this to happen. I wouldn’t have allowed it but he has. I don’t know what will happen to Crime from now on, but I am not content with what is going on there. But this is Obama’s responsibility,” he said.
