US President Donald Trump said that Russia, along with Iran and the Syrian authorities, is responsible for "humanitarian disgrace" in Syria. He said this at a press conference with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, CNN reported.
"What Russia and what Iran and what Syria have done recently is a humanitarian disgrace," Trump said.
According to him, the US military are now in Syria with the sole purpose of getting rid of the "Islamic state".
"We have no other reasons, and we have largely achieved our goal, but what those three countries have done to those people over the last short period of time is a disgrace," concluded Trump.
