Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin apparently met in Helsinki; the bilateral meeting began at about 2.20 p.m. Kyiv time.

Leaders of the U.S. and Russia came to Finland, the neutral territory, to talk through a lot of political issues - 'on everything from trade to military to missiles, to nuclear, to China', as Trump put it, CNN quoted him as saying.

The presidential palace is hosting an event.

It’s hard to predict the duration of the negotiations. According to Yuriy Ushakov, the Aide to the President, the Russian part is not going to limit the upcoming meeting with the U.S. leader.

For the record, the last year meeting of Trump and Putin during the G20 summit lasted for two hours. The leaders agreed to meet in person during the APEC CEO Summit 2017 in Vietnam afterward, however, they never managed to hold the meeting properly.
