U.S. President Donald Trump said that his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, had brought a lot of information that he could use while testifying in Congress. This was reported by the White House’s press service, commenting on Trump's words about Giuliani's visit to Ukraine.
"I just know that he's come back from some place.. He says he has a lot of good information. I have not spoken to him about that information yet," Trump said.
As we reported earlier, Rudy Giuliani, U.S. President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, met with former Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko on November 3. He visited Kyiv on November, 4 in order to meet with Ukrainian prosecutors Konstantin Kulyk and Viktor Shokin, The New York Times informed.
The goal of Giuliani's visit to Hungary and Ukraine is to provide Trump’s supporters with new materials to undermine the House of Representatives' impeachment inquiry and, eventually, the Senate trial.
"Giuliani is using the trip to help prepare more episodes for the documentary series of U.S. Conservative TV channel," the report said.
