U.S. president-elect Donald Trump says ‘reset’ would be a bad definition for further relations with Russia, noting the criticism that Hillary Clinton – as the U.S. Secretary of State – received after her 2009 attempts at bettering relations between the countries failed, as New York Times put it in the interview.

“I wouldn’t use that term after what happened,” Trump said, referring to Clinton’s failure in that area of the U.S. foreign policy. He carefully added it would be ‘nice’ if he and Putin were able to support the dialogue.
