US President-elect Donald Trump met with the leader of the British eurosceptics Nigel Farage. Farage wrote about this on Twitter.
“It was a great honour to spend time with Donald Trump. He was relaxed and full of good ideas. I'm confident he will be a good President”, reads the message.
Earlier Farage welcomed the election of Trump as the US President. He wrote that 2016 is the year of the political revolution, meaning the Brexit and the election of Trump as the President of the United States.
CNN informs that the meeting took place in New York. He was seen by reporters in the lobby of Trump’s Tower on Fifth Avenue. He shouted: "We are just tourists!" When reporters asked what he was doing there.
Farage also said later in the social network that Trump responded positively to a proposal to return the bust of Winston Churchill in the Oval Office.
Especially pleased at @realDonaldTrump's very positive reaction to idea that Sir Winston Churchill's bust should be put back in Oval Office.— Nigel Farage (@Nigel_Farage) 12 листопада 2016 р.
Recall that Farage is one of the key supporters of Brexit.
