Donbas conflict was one of the major topics on the agenda during the meeting of French and American leaders on Thursday. Donald Trump said that at a press conference after the meeting in Paris.

‘Today we talked through a lot of things, including the ceasefire in Syria. We also discussed the situation in Ukraine and many other topics,’ the U.S president said.  

According to him, the two leaders also talked about the North Korean aggression, the latest developments in Libya and other countries, as well as the modern security challenges caused by the worldwide spread of terrorism. The presidents also touched the matters regarding the Paris climate agreement.

On Thursday, Donald Trump and the U.S. first lady Melania Trump arrived in Paris to participate in the solemn ceremonies, as the French celebrate the Bastille Day (July 14; the national holiday in France, - 112 International).
