US President Donald Trump believes that he has every right to ask other countries to investigate corruption. The head of the White House wrote about this on his Twitter page.

“As President I have an obligation to end corruption, even if that means requesting the help of a foreign country or countries. It is done all the time," Trump said.

At the same time, he emphasized that his desire to fight corruption is in no way connected with the political campaign against his main candidate in the 2020 elections, Joe Biden, and his son Hunter.

“This has nothing to do with politics or a political campaign against the Bidens. This does have to do with their corruption!” Trump emphasized.

We recall that the scandal surrounding Trump's telephone conversation with Zelensky arose because the US president turned to the leader of another country in order to find dirt on his political opponent Joe Biden and his son Hunter. US Democratic congressmen have launched an investigation with the intention of impeaching the head of the White House.

As we reported, Trump stated he wanted Ukraine and China to investigate the case of Joe Biden and his son.

“I would recommend them to start an investigation of Biden,” Trump said in response to a question about what he wanted Zelensky to do.

Trump added that he believes that China should initiate an investigation into Biden’s case, citing unproven allegations that he and his lawyer have made regarding Hunter Biden’s business relationship in China.

"And, by the way, in a similar way, China should begin an investigation of Biden. Because what happened in China is as bad as things happened in Ukraine," he said.
