US President Donald Trump conducted a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This in Twitter wrote spokesman for the White House Sean Spicer.

"After talking to Chancellor Merkel for 45 minutes Trump makes the third of five scheduled phone calls, talking to Russian President Vladimir Putin," he wrote.

Telephone conversation between US and Russian president is over, it lasted 40 minutes. This was reported on Twitter by Russian journalist Dmitry Smirnov.

"Conversation between Putin and Trump is over: presidents of Russia and the United States talked during 40 minutes ," he wrote.

Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin discussed a number of topical international problems, including the situation in Ukraine. This was reported in the press-service of the Kremlin.

Earlier it was reported that in the last days Donald Trump signed three decrees envisaging stricter immigration policy. On Friday, January 27, Trump signed a decree on suspension of refugee-hosting program in the US for 120 days, after which, during the year the government would allow no more than 50 thousand refugees to enter the US.
