Trump discuss Iran issue with UN Secretary General

Donald Trump, the U.S. President, had a meeting with António Guterres, United Nations Secretary-General, and discussed the “issues of mutual interest”, as it was reported on the White House website.

“The parties discussed issues of mutual interest, including North Korea, Syria, Iran, and reform of the United Nations,” the message says.

As it is noted, Trump expressed his support the Secretary-General’s efforts to improve the effectiveness of UN work.

“The two committed to work together in the months ahead to address these and other common threats and challenges,” the website says.

Earlier, António Guterres stated that he was deeply disappointed with the U.S. decision to leave Iran Nuclear Deal.
