U.S. President Donald Trump continues to insist that he does not know Lev Parnas, an associate of Rudy Giuliani, who has recently provided new evidence on President's efforts to secure an investigation into his political rival Joe Biden, CNN reports.

"I don't know him at all, don't know what he's about, don't know where he comes from, know nothing about him. I can only tell you this thing is a big hoax," Trump said

He also added that, in his opinion, Parnas is probably trying to make a deal for himself.

In the end, Trump stated: "Perhaps he is a fine man. Perhaps he is not. I do not believe I have ever spoken to him".

As we reported earlier, House Democrats unveiled new evidence that they plan to send to the Senate as part of their case to remove U.S. President Donald Trump from office, CNN informed.

Lev Parnas, Rudy Giuliani's associate, provided text messages and hand-written notes that add more details about the push for an investigation into Bidens.

According to the note, Parnas's chief objective in Ukraine was for its president to announce a criminal probe into Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden and his son.
