U.S. President Donald Trump has promised British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to sign "a big trade deal" after Brexit implementation, as BBC informs. He noted that London loses its "chains" when leaving the European Union.
"We're going to do a very big trade deal, bigger than we've ever had with the UK," Donald Trump said.
Speaking about Brexit, Trump noted that the UK would not have any obstacles for it.
"And now at some point they won't have the obstacle, they won't have the anchor around their ankle, because that's what they have," he said.
Boris Johnson, for his part, emphasized that British companies had great opportunities in the US market, but implied in the disagreement between the Parts.
The USA has to open its own markets in case of doing the deal with London and weaken its kind of "protectionist" politics.
"Talking of the anchor, Donald, what we want is for our ships to take freight, say, from New York to Boston, which for the moment they're not able to do," the Prime Minister replied.
As we reported earlier, the UK has to leave the European Union until October 31.
