US President Donald Trump on Twitter commented on the DPRK ballistic missile test.

"North Korea disrespected the wishes of China & its highly respected President when it launched, though unsuccessfully, a missile today. Bad!", wrote Trump.

In an interview with Fox New, US President said that he likes Chairman Xi Jinping.

"I deeply respect Chairman Xi Jinping, he is my friend and I really like him," Trump said.

In turn, Reuters, citing a source in the White House, reports that the Trump Administration may react to North Korea's unsuccessful test of a ballistic missile, speeding up the introduction of new sanctions against Pyongyang.

Recall, DPRK launched a ballistic missile in the province of Phenan-Namdo. The tests were unsuccessful. According to preliminary data, the rocket exploded a few seconds after the launch.

Earlier, Xi Jinping, in a conversation with US President Donald Trump, said that the parties should avoid actions that could lead to increased tension in the situation with the DPRK.

Trump, in turn, said that he expected Xi Jinping that he would "work hard" on the DPRK problem.
