US President Donald Trump believes that the statement of Volodymyr Zelensky during the UN summit should put an end to the scandal on the July telephone conversation, spreaded by the Democrats. Trump wrote about this on his Twitter.

The conversation with the new and very good Ukraine President, who told the Fake News, at the United Nations, that he was not pressured by me in any way, shape, or form, should by and of itself bring an end to the new and most recent Witch Hunt," Trump stated.

He believes that Democrat Adam Schiff, chairman of the intelligence committee of the US House of Representatives, deliberately misrepresented his conversation with Zelensky in order to put him in a bad light in front of society.

“Adam Schiff fraudulently and illegally inserted his made up & twisted words into my call with the Ukrainian President to make it look like I did something very wrong. He then boldly read those words to Congress and millions of people, defaming & libeling me. He must resign from Congress!" Trump was sure.

More than twenty American and Ukrainian officials are involved in Trump-Zelensky phone conversation scandal, as the CNN TV channel informs. Apart from Trump, his personal attorney Giuliani, Zelensky, Joe and Hunter Biden, the scandal includes U.S. Attorney-General William Barr, Pompeo, Pence, Volker as well as a number of congressmen, Ukrainian ex-prosecutors general and even Putin.

Barr took over as head of the Department of Justice in February 2019, and oversaw the official release of the Mueller report summing up the government's investigation into claims that Russia engaged with the Trump campaign to tamper with the 2016 election. Trump asked the Ukrainian President to talk with Barr as part of an investigation he said Barr was conducting. Barr has remained quiet about any involvement in Ukraine, but Democrats have said they expect him to be called to testify.

It is mentioned that USA Vice-President Mike Pence had a meeting with Zelensky in Poland instead of Trump, as he canceled it.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member and active protector of Trump in the impeachment procedure Davin Nunes, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Shiff, White House counsel Pet Cipollone, acting director of national intelligence Joseph Maguire are also involved in the scandal.

Among Ukrainians, there are such names as former Ukrainian General Prosecutors Yuriy Lutsenko and Viktor Shokin.

A holdover from the administration that preceded Zelensky in Ukraine, Lutsenko was Giuliani's original target to influence toward an investigation of the Bidens and Burisma. Lutsenko said in May he had looked to reanimate the investigation, but also that there was no evidence of any wrongdoing by Hunter Biden. His comments to a reporter for The Hill that there should be an investigation into whether Ukrainians had meddled in the 2016 US election may have helped fuel Giuliani's focus on Ukraine.

The name of Russi'a President is also reported in the story, however, Vladimir Putin is not directly connected with the phone conversation. He was also mentioned as Ukraine needs help to fight against the Russian Federation.
