U.S. President Donald Trump asked his team to review Ukraine’s security financing program. It is reported by Politico.

According to this data, the president wants to make sure that the financing is used in the interests of the United States.

"We are aware that the Management and Budget Office is delaying the financing of an initiative on promotion the security of Ukraine," said Evan Hollander, representative of the House Appropriations Committee.

Hollander also noted that there are serious concerns about the freezing of these important allocated funds, and the administration has already been asked why they are delaying these resources.

It is reported that in 2019, the U.S. allocated $ 250 million to Ukraine for security assistance, including money for weapons, training, equipment and intelligence support.

It is noted that the number of officials who are considering financing for Ukraine’s security include U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper and National Security Advisor John Bolton.
