Trump announces meeting with Putin at G20 summit

U.S. President Donald Trump stated he intends to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin during G20 summit in Osaka, Japan as CBS News reported.

Trump also added that he intends to hold the meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

G20 summit should take place on June 28-29 in Japanese Osaka.

Earlier it was reported that Trump and Putin will discuss the issue of Ukrainian sailors at the meeting in June. American Special Representative to Ukraine Kurt Volker stated that the U.S. insists on the release of sailors.

Earlier the presidents of Russia and America had a long-lasting phone call. They discussed the current crisis in Venezuela, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the nuclear treaty with the possible participation of China and settling down the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. 

Besides, Vladimir Putin was not invited to the celebration of the anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy on June 6, 1944, which is also known as Overlord Operation for the first time since 2004.
