Russian President Putin and his American colleague Donald Trump might have three more meetings in 2018, as Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s Press Secretary, stated, Izvestia reports.
The Kremlin did not exclude a possibility of conducting talks in France, Singapore and Argentina. It refers to the end of the World War I in France celebration, the East Asian Summit in Singapore and meeting of G-20 in Argentina.
“It all depends on reciprocity,” Dmitry Peskov specified, answering a question about Putin-Trump possible meeting.
It should be noted that on September 11-15 the East Asian Summit will take place in Singapore where Trump and Putin are expected to be.
Earlier, the first-ever meeting of the current U.S. President and North Korean leader took place on June 12 in Singapore. The main topics of the summit are the denuclearization of DPRK and the reduction of tensions between the states.
Before the summit, Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump exchanged the historical handshake against the U.S. and North Korean flags. The leaders talked face-to-face in the presence of the translators and later the advisers and high-level officials joined them.
As we reported, the leaders of the US Donald Trump and DPRK Kim Jong-un have signed the joint document on the results of the talks on June 12 in Singapore. Among the four main points of the signed document are the establishment of the “new relations” between the U.S. and DPRK, and the agreement on continuing the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
