Trump and Kim Jong-Un to hold private meeting

On June 12, Donald Trump, the U.S. President, and Kim Jong-Un, the Leader of North Korea, will conduct a closed-door meeting, as the White House press office reports.

“President Donald J. Trump will meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. Following the initial greeting, President Trump and Chairman Kim will participate in a one-on-one meeting, with translators only, an expanded bilateral meeting, and a working lunch,” the message says.

After, a bilateral meeting will take place. The U.S. delegation including Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State, John Kelly, the Chief of Staff, John Bolton, the National Security Advisor, will participate in the talks.

“Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, Ambassador Sung Kim, and National Security Council Senior Director for Asia Matt Pottinger will join for the working lunch,” the representatives of the press office added.

Trump will hold a press conference for the journalists after the meeting. Them he departs for the U.S. in the evening.

The leaders of the U.S. and North Korea meet in Capella hotel on June 12 in Singapore. The will mainly discuss the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

The security measures in Singapore were enhanced due to the historic summit.
