President of the United States Donald Trump during his meetings with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin regularly expresses his solidarity with Ukrainian people. This Klimkin said during his visit to Canada, reports Ukrinform.
"I met with President Trump three times and he always conveyed a clear message of solidarity: we are with you, Ukrainians, I take this message as full support of Ukraine and our struggle, both in terms of security and in promoting reforms," said Klimkin.
He added that in its confrontation with Russia, Ukraine is fighting not only for itself, but for the entire transatlantic community.
"When we fight in Ukraine, of course, we are fighting for ourselves and our future, which is seen as European and democratic, at the same time, we are fighting not only for the eastern flank of the transatlantic community," the minister stressed.
In his opinion, in recent years Ukraine has become an "indispensable ally" of the transatlantic community.
