The Washington Post

US President Donald Trump has accused the former head of state Barack Obama that he tapped his phone in October 2016, shortly before the presidential election. This the 45th president wrote in his Twitter.

"Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found," wrote Trump.

The current US president said that "a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping phones" in October, before the election.

"How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!", wrote Trump.
