Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who came with the official visit to Ukraine on July 11-12, published the photos with comments on Twitter.

Trudeau posted a photograph on which he and Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman brought flowers to the memorial at the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly hundred in the center of Kyiv.

"Visiting the Maidan as Canada reaffirms its support for the Ukrainian people & their sovereignty", PM wrote.

Trudeau shared a photo of St. Sophia Cathedral.

Canada's PM also thanked Groysman for a productive meeting, and President Poroshenko for hospitality. He noted the signing of a free trade area agreement.

Additionally, Trudeau posted photos from the Memorial of Holodomor victims at Babyi Yar Monument and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
