Leonid Kuchma, Ukraine's representative, says prisoner exchange is top priority
15:32, 31 May 2016

“We raise this issue every time we meet; we often come to terms, sometimes we don’t. Tomorrow, we’ll raise it again”, Kuchma said.

“I don’t think this question will be solved quickly. I guess they will stall on this issue, because the opposite side (pro-Russia mercenaries, - 112 International) adds to the prisoners’ list certain people who don’t have anything to do with the ongoing events in Donbas – for instance, the people involved in events in Odesa on May 2. It’s a complicated issue; let’s just hope the common sense wins”, the official noted.
