The meeting of the Trilateral contact group started in Minsk on December 7. Spokeswoman for Ukraine's representative in the contact group Daria Olifer wrote about this on Facebook.

Earlier it was reported that on November 29 Minsk hosted the meeting of foreign ministers in Normandy format (Germany, Ukraine, France, Russia).

They discussed the "road map", but did not come to an agreement. Ukrainian side insisted on the release of the hostages before the Christmas holidays. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that there will be no paramilitary missions in the Donbas region, including the OSCE.
